From Witness to Advocate: Grayson's Journey to Protect Sea Turtles

In 2011, at the age of 4, Grayson Houston-Henderson's passion for sea turtles ignited during a magical event on Topsail Island, NC: the hatching of a sea turtle nest. Witnessing volunteers from the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center (KBSTRRC) ensuring the safety of the hatchlings sparked a deep-seated passion within Grayson.

In the years that followed, Grayson dedicated himself to fundraising for KBSTRRC, employing grassroots efforts that resonated with many. Despite raising thousands of dollars, Grayson's aspirations continued to grow. This led to the birth of the Sea Turtle Conservation Fund (STCF).

Since its establishment, STCF has evolved beyond fundraising, establishing education and grassroots initiative coordination departments. In addition to his work with STCF, Grayson has addressed thousands of students worldwide, advocating for environmental conservation and inspiring the next generation to take responsibility for protecting the environment, much like he was inspired years ago.
